Long, thin wooden paddles developed by native Inuit people in the artic regions. Traditionally made from one long piece of carved wood. (Where wood is a scarce commodity.) Used in their sleek "skin on frame" sea kayaks when hunting at sea, these paddles move through the water quietly and efficiently. Used differently than a standard "Euro" style, these paddles still find thier use in modern sea kayaking today. Ideal for long distance paddles. Read more about them HERE.
